What personal information do I need to provide in order to sell tickets?

We need to see your proof of purchase with the event information, the price paid and your full name (essentially, your receipt – we can guide you on how to find it).  We then verify your ID to make sure you are the original purchaser.  Don’t worry!  You can cover up any sensitive information.  We just need to match the name on your ID to the proof of purchase to make sure it’s you!

When I sell a ticket, what terms do I agree to?

By selling us your tickets you verify that you are the original purchaser of these tickets and that the tickets will under no circumstances be reprinted, reissued, or used.  You also agree that, in case of an outright cancellation (not a postponement), you will refund the amount we paid you since you will receive a refund from the primary ticketing site.

What if I do not abide by the seller agreement?

Failure to abide by our agreement can result in fees as much as 300% of the purchasing price or the total cost incurred by Ticket Rescue to remedy the breach of the agreement.  Here’s the thing, this is the last resort.  If you think there is an issue with your ticket, or the tracking number shows it will arrive late, etc. Let us know!  Sometimes, we can get ahead of any issues and avoid having to charge a fee.  That’s always the goal!

I have been asked to upload a credit card and photo ID, why?

We require a credit card on file in case of undelivered or invalid tickets.  We do not charge for our service so, as long as there are no issues with your tickets, the only charge you’ll see is $0.01 to ensure the card is valid.

Your ID is required to validate your tickets and make sure you are the original purchaser – that they’re yours to sell.  There are some tricky people online!  Our sales process has been refined to ensure there will be no issues for the next fan who purchased your ticket.
